The Turkish Geographical Society (TCK) is a non-profit association established on March 12, 1942, as a public benefit organization. Its establishment was proposed at the First Turkish Geographical Congress with the aim of working towards the development and progress of geography and other earth and human sciences in Türkiye, studying the geography of Turkey using scientific methods, and following world geographical movements and progress.
